Sydney and Melbourne to defend their Aussie Club titles

The 2017 Australian Open Club Championships and the Oceania Men’s Qualifier for the 2017 Super Globe are being held in Geelong between May 11-14.

Sydney Uni will be seeking to defend their titles as Australian and Oceania Champions and attend their 6th consecutive Super Globe in Qatar in late August. They'll have seven teams competing against them for the title: Melbourne HC, Olympique de Noumea, Saint Kilda HBC, UTS Handball Club A, UTS Handball Club B, West Adelaide Handball Club, and Wolves HC.

The women’s event will be contested between AS Dumbea, Auckland Handball, Canterbury Quakes, Deakin South Side, Melbourne HC, Sydney Uni and UTS Handball Club. The Melbourne Handball Club will be defending their 2016 title.
