AFTER an opening weekend of goals, drama and VAR controversies, it was more of the same this time around.
Liverpool and Arsenal maintained their 100 per cent starts to set the early pace, but Manchester United slipped up last night.
Four teams are yet to pick up their first point, including troublesome Newcastle.
Manchester City were undone by VAR in the final moments against Spurs as the new rules continue to cause chaos.

SLIP OF THE PEN
Paul Pogba just can’t keep himself out of the headlines.
After doing brilliantly to win a penalty in the 1-1 draw with Wolves, the World Cup winner then thought he was the man to take the spot-kick – despite Marcus Rashford scoring one the previous weekend.
Inevitably, Pogba saw his effort saved, which means he now has just a 64 per cent conversion rate.
So what should the Red Devils do going forward…

Four months on from that night at the Etihad, City were again left baffled and bemused by VAR.
Gabriel Jesus thought he was his side’s saviour, sweeping past Hugo Lloris for the winner in injury time.
But with the new rules stating no goal can be allowed if the ball touches an attacker’s arm in the build up, Aymeric Laporte was undone after the ball accidentally deflected off his arm.
So is the new rule good for football or does it need rethinking again?

Three wins from three (if you include the Super Cup). So far, so good for Liverpool.
After Mo Salah scored in the opener against Norwich, Sadio Mane turned it on with both goals against Chelsea in Istanbul.
And it was Mane who opened the scoring against his former side Southampton at the weekend before Roberto Firmino secured the winner.
