Mbappe's mum blasts Neymar and Alves for calling him a Ninja Turtle

Kylian Mbappe's mother fears Neymar and Dani Alves have been teasing her son in the Paris Saint-Germain dressing room, The Sun quoting El Pais.

The Spanish news media outlet claims Mbappe's mum, Fayza, who is a former handball player in France feels uncomfortable at the way the teen striker is always compared to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Donatello.

Alves posted a photo of Donatello after the 19-year-old scored twice in France's 4-3 win over Argentina in the round of 16.

Thiago Silva gave Mbappe a mask of the cartoon character as an early Christmas present in November and fans dressed up as the turtle during a pitch invasion weeks later.

A supposed behind-the-scenes bust-up between Mbappe and Brazil Neymar has also been a cause for concern.

It is claimed the French sensation feels the joke has gone too far and is fed up of being laughed at.

Neymar and his Paris Saint-Germain teammates are said to have shown Mbappe little respect since his loan move from Monaco, which can be made permanent for £166m.

According to the report, Mbappe was involved in a row with Neymar in the dressing room when he felt he deliberately did not pass to him during their 1-0 over Toulouse.

The duo apparently had to be separated by teammates and have hardly spoken since the incident occurred.

PSG chiefs were hoping for a France versus Brazil final, which would showcase their two star players to the world.

But the Selecao's' quarter-final exit to Belgium has instead highlighted Mbappe's superior form this tournament something the Parisian club fear will unsettle Neymar.

Mbappe has scored three goals so far at the World Cup and helped France qualify into the finals while two-goal Neymar was knocked out with Brazil in the quarter-finals to Belgium.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that France defeated Belgium 1-0 in a semi final match played on Tuesday, July, 10.

Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti scored the only goal of the match in the 51st minute to send Les Bleus into the finals.
