St Kilda claim Round 4 of the Men’s Handball League Australia event

St Kilda (Melbourne) overtook Sydney University in a thrilling final at the HLA Round 4 in November and UTS Hawkes won over the younger Brisbane Wolves in the 3d place playoff.

Most of the games over the weekend were very tight. Queensland’s Wolves are a young team with many players having moved up from the Juniors squad – they gave Sydney Uni a close run in their Saturday game leading all the way until the final moments when Sydney Uni took control in extra time to finish two goals ahead. The future is looking bright for Australian Handball.
