[Women's Golf] Thompson Named to All-CCAC Women’s Golf Team for Fourth Time

CHICAGO – Earning the honor each of the four years of her impressive collegiate career, Saint Xavier University senior Taylor Thompson (Galesburg, Ill./Knoxville) claimed one of just five spots on the 2017 All-Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Women's Golf Team when the postseason honors were announced by the league office Wednesday morning.  Thompson tied for second place overall in last week's CCAC Women's Golf Championship at Flossmoor Country Club shooting two rounds of 82 to finish with a total score of 164.  In addition to the four all-conference honors, she was also named the CCAC Women's Golfer of the Year as a freshman in 2014.  Thompson finished in the top three individually in six of the seven tournaments that SXU competed in during the 2016-17 season.
