The Coast Guard Auxiliary has offered to perform free Vessel Safety Checks for a minimum 2 boat owners. Boats that pass the inspection will receive a Safety Vessel Inspection Decal. Please call the FLCA at 540-972-1000 if you are interested in having your boat inspected.
As of July 1, 2016 all Fawn Lake PWC operators and motorboat operators (regardless of age) MUST take a NASBLA approved boating safety course and provide a copy of the certificate to the FLCA office.

Marymount California hosted a four-team, one-day tournament at The Links of Victoria GC in Carson, Calif. Vanguard edged the Mariners by two strokes for top honors, finishing with a team score of 337 to MCU's 339.
Update with Elliott 30/4/19 Rockcliffe Cup Results: This weekend was the rescheduled Rockcliffe Cup. 110 entrants played in the breezy conditions. Everything was close at the top with the top three all shooting nett 70.
Update with Elliott 23/4/19 Easter Shotgun Results: Glorious weather on Easter Sunday meant for good scoring in the Easter Shotgun. Dennis Skelton and Paul Irwin won the competition with an impressive 47 points...
Update with Elliott 16/4/19 Gents Stableford Results: On Sunday there was a gents stableford competition. Windy conditions made good scoring was very well earned. Jamie Oxley took first lace with 45 points.
Update with Elliott 9/4/19 Rockcliffe Cup: Unfortunately due to bad weather, we had to postpone the Rockcliffe Cup that was due to be played on Sunday. This has been rescheduled for Sunday 28th April.
Update with Elliott 2/4/19 Cook Shield Shotgun Results: Saturday saw the Cook Shield Shotgun take place, the last event of the Cook Shield for 2018/19. Luke Pearson and Michael Heerin won with a fantastic score of 58 (-15)...
Update with Elliott 26/3/19 Cook Shield Final Result: Simon Wakefield and Steve Borrow are the winners of this years Cook Shield. They defeated Craig Hartas and Shaun Garrett in a very closely fought game that was won on the 18th.
Update with Elliott 19/3/19 Cook Shield: Saturday was meant to be the final of the cook shield, unfortunately the weather had other ideas. Severe rainfall meant the course had to be shut. The final of the cook shield has been postponed until Saturday 23rd March.
