Update with Elliott 2/4/19

Cook Shield Shotgun Results:

Saturday saw the Cook Shield Shotgun take place, the last event of the Cook Shield for 2018/19. Luke Pearson and Michael Heerin won with a fantastic score of 58 (-15), they narrowly beat Nigel Dixon and Keith Coote by 1 shot so they take second place. 3rd Place was taken by Gary Smithies and Alan Midgely with a score of 64 (-9). Kevin Boyes won this weeks nearest the pin. Well done to all who played the shotgun and to all those who supported the Cook Shield throughout the year.

This Week:

April can only mean the golfing season has officially started! Sunday April 7th sees the first official competition of the year – The Rockcliffe Cup, this is a mixed competition with ladies and men both eligible to win. If you wish to enter, please do so online through ESP or contact the shop to book you a tee time. The format for this competition is singles medal.

Knockouts:

All the Summer Knockouts have now been drawn, with the sheets now up in the locker room. Please can all entrants make sure that they leave contact details with plenty of time to spare before the deadlines. It is both players/teams equal responsibility to get their games played within the time frame If you require any assistance with any issues that you may have in organising your fixtures, please come and speak to one of us in the shop in good time of the deadline. Failure to get the games played before the deadline will result in both teams being eliminated.

Also upon games being completed, please can the results be posted both on the sheet in the locker room, and on the computer.
