Which teams have qualified for Euro 2020? Turkey and France latest to qualify with England playing tonight
EURO 2020 is rapidly approaching, and two more teams have qualified.
Turkey’s 0-0 draw with Iceland was enough to put Senol Gunes’ team through, as well as France.
Euro 2020: Which teams have qualified?
QUALIFICATION for the Euros began just weeks after the 2018 World Cup finished in Russia.
The first two teams in each qualifying group will automatically head into next summer’s showpiece, which for the first time is being hosted in a number of major European cities.
So far, the teams who have confirmed their place in Euro 2020 are:
- Belgium (Group I)
- Italy (Group J)
- Poland (Group G)
- Russia (Group I)
- Ukraine (Group B)
- Turkey (Group H)
- France (Group H)
England will have to wait despite their 6-0 win in Bulgaria and can clinch a place in the tournament with a point against Montenegro next month.
Who can qualify for Euro 2020 tonight?
Group A: ENGLAND – If they draw at home to Montenegro or Czech Republic vs Kosovo has a winner.
Group B: PORTUGAL – If they beat Lithuania at home and Serbia fail to beat Luxembourg.

When are the play-off dates?
THE Nations League play-offs give the chance for FOUR more teams to join in the main tournament next summer.
Scotland must now follow this route after missing out on qualification from Group I.
All of the matches will be held in March 2020.
They will take place on Thursday, March 26 and Monday, March 30.
As of October 14, the teams set to be involved in Nations League qualifying are (teams confirmed in bold):
- Path A: Switzerland, Iceland, Bulgaria/Israel/Romania
- Path B: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Wales, Slovakia, Northern Ireland
- Path C: Scotland, Norway, Serbia, Bulgaria/Israel/Romania
- Path D: Georgia, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Belarus
Should any of these teams earn automatically qualify for the tournament through the Euro 2020 qualifying phase, their play-off place will be passed onto the next best-ranked side from their League.
If there are less than four teams that are yet to qualify from a League then the spots are filled with sides from another League in accordance with the Uefa Nations League rankings – but group winners will not be moved up into a play-off with a higher League.
