I'm not saying I'd like Carsley and in any case it sounds liek he isn't interested but I don't understand why lots of people think it's a terrible idea. He has done wonders with the England U21s, had the seniors playing well apart from one weird experiment game, has a historic connection with Blues. I know that isn't a big deal in a manager but some people are beside themselves if we get linked to a DVB so surely a Blues person is a positive?
He has no club management experience which makes him totally unproven. I don’t want a Blues passion merchant, I want a genuine upgrade on Davies with someone experienced who gives us a far better chance of progressing.
Davies was essentially a gamble due to having no managerial experience. To follow that up with someone else inexperienced would be ridiculous.
Saying Glasner is mental, as with Rohl.
I'd quite like Coberhan, who sounds like he's close to the sack at Valencia, but it'll be someone relatively unknown from a foreign league.
