Tottenham reveal pre-season tour plans for 2026/27, including a fixture against Chelsea

0 0

Tottenham Hotspur have now confirmed details for next season’s pre-season tour, including ticketing information and fixtures against Chelsea FC and Auckland FC.

The 26-27 season could look very different for Tottenham Hotspur, who could well be playing in the Championship next campaign.

As it stands, Spurs are at risk of losing their Premier League status given their league standing, where they are in 17th place and a single point above the relegation zone.

Tottenham could also have a new manager in the dugout, depending on whether they beat the drop this term, or on the deal agreed with the head coach they bring in following the departure of Igor Tudor.

Tottenham confirm Auckland tour with Auckland FC pre-season fixture

Many fans of the Lilywhites will be hoping their side can weather the storm this season and make a drastic improvement ahead of the next campaign.

However, regardless of the struggles on the pitch, preparations for the 26-27 season are in full swing, with Tottenham confirming their pre-season tour destination.

It has been announced that the Spurs men’s first team will visit Auckland, New Zealand, to kick off their 2026 pre-season tour.

The pre-season outing will include a fixture against Auckland FC on Sunday 26 July, kick-off 3.30 pm (local time), at Eden Park as part of the New Zealand International Football Festival.

It was revealed earlier this campaign that a London derby fixture involving Tottenham and Chelsea is scheduled to take place in Sydney – that is indeed a part of next season’s pre-season tour of Australia.

Spurs outline pre-season plans and ticket details

Spurs have also confirmed that members of local Tottenham Hotspur Official Supporters’ Clubs will be given priority access to tickets for the match against Auckland FC via a dedicated pre-sale opening at 10 am on Wednesday, 1 April (local time in Auckland, 10 pm Tuesday, 31 March in the UK).

An exclusive link will be shared for access to tickets, while tickets will go on general sale at 12 pm on Tuesday, 7 April (local time in Auckland, 1 am in the UK) via Ticketek.

The club’s ambassador, Ledley King, announced the trip during a press conference in Auckland, outlining the significance of the visit and what it will offer both the squad and supporters.

He said: “We are excited to be visiting New Zealand for just the second time in our history. The match against Auckland FC will provide a tough test ahead of the new season and a unique opportunity for the Men’s First-Team to play in a new environment and at an incredible venue in Eden Park.

“Our time in Auckland will give us the opportunity to engage with our incredible fanbase in the city, deliver football clinics for young people and celebrate local culture.”
