The 100 Greatest Leeds United Players - Now With Voting
Back in 2005, we put together our original list of the 100 Greatest Leeds United Players. It was a labour of love, drawing on decades of history and the collective memory of several messageboards in the Leeds United community. But time moves on — since that original list was compiled, over 200 more players have worn the white shirt of Leeds United.
It hasn't always been a period of glory. We've seen the depths of League One, the false dawns, the promotions, the heartbreaks and the occasional moments of real brilliance. Some of the players who felt fresh and significant back in 2005 may have faded in the memory. Others, with the benefit of hindsight and a bit of distance, have grown in stature. A player who gave everything during the dark years perhaps deserves more credit now than they got at the time. There have been some tweaks to the list but it's not had a serious overhaul in 20 years,
With all of that in mind, we refreshed the official MOTForum 100 Greatest Leeds United Players plage - you can find the full list here: https://motforum.com/stats/player/greats/
But now we want YOUR top 100!
We've built a brand new community voting system into the page. Here's how it works:
The Community Rankings tab will update in real time as votes come in, showing the aggregate top 100 based on everyone's lists. The scoring works on rank point, your number 1 pick gets 100 points, number 2 gets 99, all the way down to 1 point for your 100th choice.
If you're not sure where to start, there's a "Use Official 100" button that will pre-populate your list with our selection as a baseline — you can then move players up and down, swap them out and make it your own.
