Borussia Dortmund see Archie Gray as their next Jude Bellingham as Tottenham set price tag
The interest in Archie Gray’s services is continuing to intensify as Tottenham face a summer transfer window of defence.
Gray’s development has been one of the only bright sparks in what has been a disastrous few months for Tottenham, who now sit on the brink of relegation from the Premier League.
His improved performances have not gone unnoticed, with some elite clubs thought to be eyeing a move for the Spurs youngster this summer.
As Gray continues to get better with each game, the race for his signature is now reportedly intensifying.
Man United could battle Borussia Dortmund for Tottenham starlet Archie Gray
A couple of days ago, Sports Boom reported that Man United are plotting a move for Gray if Tottenham go down this season.
This has been backed up by a new update on TEAMtalk, which states that United hold a ‘genuine interest’ in the Spurs teenager.
However, it is revealed that the Red Devils are expected to face some competition from abroad for the 20-year-old.
Borussia Dortmund are also ‘growing increasingly keen’ on a move for Gray, with the Bundesliga club believing that the Tottenham man can replicate the success of the Bellingham brothers, Jadon Sancho and Jamie Gitten at the Westfalenstadion.
How much are Spurs expected to demand for Gray?
TEAMtalk say that if Tottenham go down to the Championship, the young midfielder is ‘almost certain’ to leave the club this summer.
In that case, the North Londoners are expected to demand a fee in the region of £45m to £50m for Gray, who they paid £40m to sign from Leeds back in 2024.
However, the outlet adds that should Spurs preserve their Premier League status, they would be in a strong position to retain the England U21 international.
