Club Statement: Colin Smart

Raith Rovers Football Club can today announce the resignation of Colin Smart as Chairman and a Director.

A statement from Colin reads:

“I have today tendered my resignation as a Director of the Club, with immediate effect.

This has not been an easy decision to make. It has been a privilege to serve the Club and to work alongside dedicated colleagues, staff, players, and supporters who are deeply passionate about its success. I am proud of what we have achieved together during my time on the Board.

However, after careful consideration, I have decided that the time is right for me to step down in order to focus more on my family and to dedicate greater attention to my other business interests.

I remain fully supportive of the Club and its future direction, and I am confident that it will continue to progress both on and off the pitch. I would like to thank everyone associated with the Club for their support, commitment, and friendship during my tenure.

I wish the Club every success for the future.“
