Hunter Captains Hibs Women In Edinburgh Derby

Head Coach Joelle Murray has named her Hibernian Women starting XI for today’s Edinburgh Derby.

Three alterations have been made for the trip to Oriam from our midweek 2-2 home draw against Rangers.

Noa Schumacher remains in goal while Scarlett Herron and Stacey Papadopoulos line up once more in defence.

After finishing the Rangers match bandaged up, full-back Lauren Doran-Barr has passed all necessary medical protocols to start again this afternoon.

Centre-back Siobhan Hunter comes into the starting line-up for the first time in 2026 after shaking off an injury setback and will captain the Hibees this afternoon.

Ciara Grant and Jess Fitzgerald start in midfield, while Tegan Bowie and Hannah Jordan are restored to the XI in attack.

Joining the incoming pair up top is Kathleen McGovern, who scored the opener against Rangers, and Rosie Livingstone.

Tiree Burchill and Kirsty Morrison provide attacking depth off the bench, while goalkeeper Rowena Armitage, full-back Caley Gibb, and defender Faye Bryson provide additional defensive reinforcements.

The final substitute is youngster Jess Ramsay, who returns following a successful spell away with Scotland U17s.

Linzi Taylor, Kirsten Reilly, Ellis Notley, Eilidh Adams and Rachael Boyle miss out.
