Tottenham Hotspur confirmed team line-up vs Nottingham Forest – Xavi Simons dropped
The Tottenham Hotspur starting line-up for the huge Premier League match against Nottingham Forest has been confirmed ahead of kick-off.
Tottenham Hotspur will be desperate to secure a Premier League victory this afternoon as they continue their fight to beat the drop before the upcoming international break.
However, standing in their way are relegation rivals Nottingham Forest, who themselves are desperate for three points as they are level with West Ham United on points.
Spurs know that a win here this afternoon will see them open up a four-point buffer on the side in 18th place, while also closing the gap on Leeds United in 15th following their 0-0 draw on Saturday evening.

Guglielmo Vicario starts in goal despite hernia issue
Igor Tudor will now have to rely on his Tottenham players to help pick up all three points here at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Spurs managed a victory here last time out against Atletico Madrid, beating the Spanish side 3-2 in their Champions League last-16 second leg.
Since then, a lot has improved on the injury front for Tottenham coming into this encounter.
Cristian Romero is back in the Premier League side for the first time in almost a month, while Micky van de Ven returns from suspension.
Destiny Udogie, Joao Palhinha and Lucas Bergvall are also back in today’s matchday squad as the Lilywhites look to secure all three points.
Guglielmo Vicario has managed to make the XI despite being scheduled for surgery next week, while Dominic Solanke has been passed fit to be included.
This is the Tottenham team which takes to the field in north London this afternoon:
TOTTENHAM: Vicario; Pedro Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Danso, Spence; Tel, Sarr, Gray; Solanke, Richarlison
Subs: Kinsky, Dragusin, Palhinha, Xavi, Udogie, Bergvall, Gallagher, Souza, Kolo Muani
NOTTINGHAM FOREST: Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, Williams; Anderson, Sangaré; Hutchinson, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Igor Jesús.
For those wondering how to watch Tottenham vs Nottingham Forest, the match is scheduled for a 14:15 GMT kick-off and is being televised live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Ultra HDR.
