Because this is SHA and its what lots do. Moan when stuff is set in London/Manc/Scouse then we get a massive worldwide hit set next door and time to moan some more.
So the accent may not be spot on but is every cockney gangster film or northern dog hole accent perfect?? Is it feck.
Its a fictitious drama based in Brum not a documentary and is stylised for maximum effect and the world loves it. Huge well known actors in the show and plenty wanting to be in the show, and off the back of it Blues benefit.
We now have a direct association with one of the biggest TV/Film hits of all time..... Lets embrace that
Have I watched GOT.... No as dungeons and dragons is not for me.
As for this Life I absolutely loved it and will watch again.
Is any of the above overtaking AWP....No chance.
