Hibs Women Set For Edinburgh Derby Clash
Hibs Women prepare for the penultimate Women's Edinburgh Derby clash of the 2025/26 campaign this weekend!
The ScottishPower Women's Premier League fixture will kick-off at 1pm on Sunday 22 March at Oriam.
Fixtures
- Hearts Women Vs. Hibernian Women - Sun, Mar 22 2026, 13:00
THE LOWDOWN
Joelle Murray's side are on a five-match unbeaten league run heading into this weekend's crucial derby match.
Following three convincing victories against Hamilton Accies, Motherwell and Aberdeen, the Hibees have earned back-to-back draws in the past week.
Sunday's 1-1 away draw with Celtic was promptly followed up by a 2-2 tie against Rangers at Meadowbank Stadium.
Kathleen McGovern and Tiree Burchill twice put Hibs ahead on home turf, though a Katie Wilkinson header and an own goal twice brought the visitors back level.
The 11 points gained from a possible 15 in recent weeks leaves the team fifth-place in the SPWPL table with eight games remaining.
THE HOSTS
Following a 5-3 defeat to Celtic to round out the regular season, Hearts have made a strong start to their post-split fixtures in the last week.
A frenetic 3-2 home victory over Rangers on Sunday was followed up by a comfortable 4-1 win over Partick Thistle at Petershill Park.
Back-to-back positive results have Eva Olid's outfit positioned second in the SPWPL standings, three points ahead of third-place Celtic.
Our last trip to face Hearts at Oriam occured in November 2025, as the Hibees triumphed in a Sky Sports Cup tie.
Georgia Timms put the home team ahead on the day, before Hibs took control of the match and ran up a 3-1 lead through Kathleen McGovern, Tegan Bowie and Eilidh Adams goals.
Bayley Hutchinson scored late to set up a tense ending, but the Hibees prevailed 3-2 to secure passage to the next round of the cup.
