Lawrence signs on

Centre-back Lawrence starter his early youth career with Fulham, Crystal Palace and Sutton United, before signing up with Kinetic Academy based in London.

Simultaneously, he turned out for Kent outfit Chislehurst Glebe in the Southern Counties East Football League back in 2022.

Nico penned a deal with Premier League Southampton in February 2022 and less than a year on, he was rewarded with a new deal at St Mary’s Stadium until June 2025.

He spent time on loan with Torquay United in the National League – where he won Young Player of the Year after 20 appearances.

Further loan spells in the EFL followed with Colchester United and then MK Dons, before eventually departing The Saints at the end of the 2024/25 campaign having been a mainstay in their Under 21 side.

This season, Lawrence had a stint at National League title contenders York City, but departed the LNER Community Stadium recently in January 2026 after making an appearance in The Isuzu FA Trophy.

Nico has been allocated shirt number 15.
