Aston Villa FPL winners and losers from Gameweek 30: Ross Barkley returns against Manchester United
Aston Villa got turned over at Manchester United, as is traditional, and one single player achieved anything approaching a haul in FPL.
Villa players have been all but useless for Fantasy Premier League competitors in the 2025-26 season but every now and then you might get lucky and one scores a goal.

Top Aston Villa FPL scorers in GW30
Ross Barkley scored Villa’s goal in defeat at Old Trafford and made 12 defensive contributions, reeling in 12 points as a result.
Lucas Digne banked four points, the next best among Villa players, and Tyrone Mings and Emi Buendía both picked up three points. Everyone else who featured was good for either one point or two, another big ol’ blank from the boys in claret and blue.
Morgan Rogers still rules the roost among Villa players, leading the way with 132 total points for the season. Matty Cash and Ollie Watkins are both on 100 points, with Emiliano Martínez now on 99.

AVF FPL update GW30
Setting aside the big story of the week, namely that I’m now 14th in our AVF FPL league, the headline in GW30 is an unchanged top five.
Leader Gary James gained a little ground over Warren Torch in second and Abdelrhman Gooda in third. Matt Ross climbed towards the top ten with a league-best GW30 score of 70 points.
Lucy Smith, Graeme Vincent and Thabang Makhele still form the bottom three but John Mortimer bagged 52 points and jumps out of the bottom five.
