There's been talk about us looking better with Klarer on the right, or how we are more balanced passing out from the back with a left footer in Robinson or Panzo. Which might well be true on the eye test. But we are fundamentally a far worse performing team without Neumann in the team.
Starting with Neumann - 26 games, 40 points, 29 goals conceded, 7 clean sheets. Play-off form
Without Neumann - 12 games, 13 points, 19 goals conceded, 2 clean sheets. Relegation form.
The stats for Robinson are poor - 12 starts, 12 points, 20 goals conceded. You can add in two red cards, an own goal, and a shambolic penalty conceded for extra detail too.
I can accept the argument that Robinson is useful against an overly physical side. But in every other game we need to be starting Neumann imo.
