Milly Boughton Joins Motherwell On Loan

Milly Boughton has joined ScottishPower Women’s Premier League side Motherwell on loan until the end of the 2025/26 season. 

After returning for a slight injury setback in recent weeks, this loan move will provide the 20-year-old with an opportunity to gain meaningful match minutes until the end of the campaign. 

Boughton has made eight appearances across all competitions for the Hibees since joining in September, providing one assist. 

Upon the loan move, Hibernian FC Women Head Coach Joelle Murray commented: “This is a fantastic opportunity for Milly to gain crucial minutes at a topflight club until the end of the season. 

“Gaining this experience at the top-level will only stand her in good stead for the upcoming campaign once she returns to Hibs. 

“This move comes at the ideal time for Milly as she returns to full fitness after a period on the sidelines, and we will be watching her development and performances at Motherwell closely.”
