Pio Esposito transfer: One difference between Newcastle and Arsenal, but Inter stance unchanged
Inter striker Francesco Pio Esposito is reported to be a Newcastle transfer target that has already been ‘discussed internally’ by the Magpies, but the Nerazzurri are unwilling to sell him.
Italy and Inter talent Pio Esposito has been linked with Arsenal in recent weeks, but according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle are even more interested than the Gunners.
Romano explains that Arsenal are keeping a close eye on all the best talents worldwide, but haven’t made contact with Inter and are not planning a big summer investment on a new striker.
On the other hand, one club that would be ready to be serious about Esposito is Newcastle, as they want to sign a centre-forward in the summer.
Romano reports that Esposito is a name that Newcastle have already discussed internally, but Inter are unwilling to sell the striker.
It is reported that Pio Esposito is “one of the few unsellable players” for Inter who are expected to make big changes in other departments over the summer.
