We have already seen reports suggesting over recent days that Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are eyeing a move for Archie Gray.
It has now been revealed by TEAMtalk that Real are intensifying their focus on signing young English talent, with the Tottenham teenager now in their sights.
The outlet claims that Gray’s rapid rise over the last couple of years has not gone unnoticed by Madrid, who considered a move for the youngster even during his time at Leeds.
While Los Blancos have not made a formal approach for the 19-year-old yet, he is a player who has long been admired by the La Liga giants’ hierarchy.
Spurs’ plans for a summer rebuild may be collapsing
It has been claimed that Tottenham are ready to undertake an ambitious rebuilding of their squad in the summer after another poor Premier League season.
In fact, Spurs are reportedly even willing to remove their restrictive wage bill this summer if they stay up in an effort to compete for top players in the market.
However, strengthening their squad will be nearly impossible if the Lilywhites end up losing their best talent in the summer.
