QUEEN’S PARK welcome St Johnstone to The city Stadium in a re-arranged William Hill Championship fixture on Tuesday evening.
The original date was frozen off during the cold weather at the beginning of January.
Since then the Saints have acquired striker Josh Fowler from Sean Crighton’s squad – as well as two other former Queen’s Park forwards, Ruari Paton and Alfie Agyeman.
Adding the trio to a frontline that already includes Jamie Gullan and Josh McPake, creates a real southside sense about the Saints’ frontline for their trip to Mount Florida.

The Season so far...
For much of the season each team has occupied opposite ends of the table with the Saints vying with Partick Thistle at the top end, while the Spiders have been jousting with Ross County and Airdrie for eighth.
That’s where they currently sit on the fringes of the mid-division pack, although one look at the form table shows a role reversal with Queen’s Park in the top two for the Championship, and Saints in the middle.
There hasn’t been much between the sides in their two meetings either.
In Perth the home side cruised into a comfortable lead, only for a second half rally from Sean Crighton’s squad to cut the deficit back to a single goal. Only a late Morgan Boyes header secured the points and the victory by the odd-goal in seven for the Saints.
The Spiders and Saints meet for a third time
Simo Valkari’s side had already edged a tight first encounter 2-1 with a last-gasp strike from Josh McPake silencing The city Stadium.
In terms of home form, Queen’s Park have lost just once since September – again via a late goal against Ross County at the beginning of this month.
On their travels Saints are best in the league, averaging two points per game on the road.
