The best Liverpool home games to watch this season

While their Premier League title defence has not gone to plan, Liverpool still have plenty to look forward during the rest of the 2025/26 season.

The Reds are in contention to secure a top four finish, while the Champions League and FA Cup remain viable silverware targets.

Fans will be clamouring to find Liverpool tickets over the coming weeks to ensure they don’t miss what promises to be a thrilling period for the club.

With that in mind, read on as we look at the best Liverpool home games to watch this season, starting with an important clash against West Ham United.

West Ham United – Premier League – February 28

Liverpool are in a three-way battle with Manchester United and Chelsea to secure Champions League qualification via their final position in the Premier League.

While fifth place could be enough to achieve that goal, the Reds will be aiming to finish as high as possible to ensure they leave nothing to chance.

The home fixture against West Ham at the end of February offers a super opportunity to get three points on the board, but the visitors will not roll over at Anfield.

The Hammers have improved under manager Nuno Espirito Santo and will be desperate to boost their chances of avoiding relegation.

Atletico Madrid/Club Brugge/Galatasaray/Juventus – Champions League – March (date TBD)

Arne Slot’s side secured automatic progression to the Champions League last-16 after claiming third place in the group stage standings.

They will now await the outcome of the knockout round play-offs after being placed in the same pathway as Atletico Madrid, Club Brugge, Galatasaray and Juventus.

Atletico and Juventus are the favourites to win their respective play-off ties. Either team would be formidable opponents for Liverpool.

The two-legged last-16 ties are scheduled to be played on March 10/11 and March 17/18. Liverpool will host the second leg of their tie at Anfield in principle.

Tottenham Hotspur – Premier League – March 15

Tottenham’s membership of the so-called ‘Big Six’ in the Premier League looks increasingly tenuous given their ongoing troubles on and off the field.

The decision to sack Ange Postecoglou as manager last summer and replace him with Thomas Frank did not work out, and the latter was recently sacked.

Tottenham will have a new man in place by the time they visit Liverpool on March 15, but he could be set for a tough afternoon.

The Reds have historically had the upper hand over Tottenham in their head to-head meetings, and this should be another home win.

Chelsea – Premier League – May 9

The clash with Chelsea on May 9 will likely be pivotal in determining which team qualifies for next season’s Champions League.

The Blues have demonstrated signs of inconsistency this season, but are tough opponents when everything clicks into gear.

Playmaker Cole Palmer has the ability to win games on his own, and he will need to be closely watched at Anfield.

Liverpool will be gunning for revenge after losing 2-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge in October, setting up what should be a feisty encounter.

Brentford – Premier League – May 24

Brentford were tipped to struggle after Frank left the club for Tottenham last summer, but Keith Andrews has done a solid job as his replacement.

The Bees triumphed 3-2 in the reverse fixture, highlighting their impressive ability to upset the odds against higher-ranked opponents.

There could be plenty at stake on the final weekend, and Liverpool will be eager to finish the campaign with a flourish.

The Reds could also have the Champions League final to look forward to if everything goes to plan, which would be a stellar end to the season.
