State Director of Assignment – Ryan Meyers

Please join us in welcoming Ryan Meyers as Maryland’s State Director of Assignment. Ryan has a very strong background within our refereeing community. He has been refereeing for 13 years, has been a Regional Referee for 10 of those, and has also been a Referee Mentor for several years. Many of you know him well, as he is still actively officiating and mentoring and is quite often seen on the pitch in one of these roles. In his new position, Ryan will work closely with assignors and referees to help them advance to the highest level they desire within Maryland and US Soccer. In addition, he will work closely with Maryland’s Instructional and Assessment programs to help achieve these goals.
