Tottenham offer five-month contract to manager they faced in 2022 Champions League
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made a short-term contract offer to an experienced manager who has been out of work since October 2025.
It has been widely reported over the last 24 hours that Spurs are expected to appoint an interim head coach until the summer rather than a permanent appointment.
This may give the club the chance to delay their decision until the summer, when more managers could be available.
Just hours ago, journalist Matteo Moretto reported that Tottenham had reached out to Igor Tudor, who has been out of work since leaving Juvenuts in October of last year.

Tottenham have made a contract offer to Igor Tudor
Gianluca Di Marzio reports that a meeting did take place between Tudor and Spurs this morning. In fact, Di Marzio asserts that Tottenham offered a short-term contract with the Croatian coach, which runs until June.
Tudor and his agent are now assessing the offer, and the feeling is that he will say ‘yes’ to the North London club despite the short-term nature of the deal.
A final decision is expected to be made by the 47-year-old and his camp within the ‘next few hours’.
Tottenham faced Igor Tudor’s Marseille side in the 2022/23 Champions League group stages. Fans may remember it for the dramatic late winner from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, which sent Spurs to the top of Group D.
Fabrizio Romano explains Spurs’ Tudor plan
Fabrizio Romano has also taken to social media to confirm the meeting between Tudor’s camp and Spurs, with the 47-year-old said to be one of the interim options Tottenham are considering for now.
Romano does not mention that an offer has been made to the former Juventus boss, but he sheds light on the Premier League club’s plans.
He says that the idea at Spurs is to make an appointment to see them through to the summer so that they can make a move for the likes of Roberto De Zerbi or Mauricio Pochettino, who are both high on their shortlist.
