Beuatiful.
Only managed to get through half of the first episode last night as wanted to watch the Arse game - but got me hooked already.
The acting - one of my comic hero's, Palin, had my eyes moist straight away. Ok, I'm bastard lying - I was in bits.
My Mom has just moved into a home with vascular dementia. She's already had one heart attack and I know the disease will be what she dies of. When I saw Palins interaction with Quigley, his son - it got me. Just how Mom is right now, mostly she's her still, but sometimes she isn't - just for a few seconds atm, but it'll only get worse and I'm resigned to losing her twice.
Anyway - can't wait to see the rest and sort of dreading it a bit too. Crook is an utter genius and very underrated. I thought Detectorists was a beautiful comedy, this looks at least as good.
