How to watch Aston Villa v Brighton & Hove Albion: kick-off time, TV channels and streams
Aston Villa return to Villa Park on Wednesday conscious, perhaps for the first time in the 2025-26 season, that it might not be quite the fortress they want it to be.
Villa have lost their last two home matches in the Premier League, including the most recent 1-0 loss against ten-man Brentford. After dropping more points away at AFC Bournemouth on Saturday, this time from a winning position to boot, there’s work to be done to avoid losing more ground in the fight for Champions League football.
Unai Emery has been overseeing a team that seems a little short on confidence again of late. Despite the injuries affecting the middle of the pitch, they really shouldn’t be concerned. If they could find their best rhythm, they’d still be competitive in any game. That should be especially true at home and Wednesday is something of an acid test.
What time does Villa v Brighton kick off?
There’s a full Premier League midweek programme this week, starting with four matches on Tuesday – culminating in West Ham United v Manchester United in the late game – and ending with Arsenal’s trip to Brentford on Thursday.
The other five matches will be played on Wednesday. Sunderland v Liverpool is an 8.15pm kick-off and there are four games scheduled to start 45 minutes earlier.
Villa v Brighton is among the earlier Wednesday matches and will kick off at 7.30pm on Wednesday 11th February.
Where to watch Villa v Brighton in the UK
All ten of this week’s Premier League fixtures will be available to watch live on TNT Sports, which owns this mid-February midweek programme lock, stock and barrel.
The games are spread across every TNT property imaginable, with a vast array of pundits and commentators on duty as a result.
Villa v Brighton will be broadcast live on TNT Sports 3 and will be available for subscribers on the Discovery+ streaming platform.
For the record, Lynsey Hipgrave will lead the broadcast with former Villa defender Alan Hutton and Steve Sidwell, who apparently touched the ball a couple of times in his own spell at Villa, though I don’t recall either of those incidents.
Lucy Ward will be on co-commentary alongside Adam Summerton, while Danny Jamieson will be TNT’s on-the-ground reporter for the night. Don’t say I never tell you anything useful.
