Alex Cora Had Strong Reaction To Bad Bunny Super Bowl Halftime Show

Boston sports fans had little to cheer about during Super Bowl LX, as Drake Maye and the New England Patriots had a mostly disastrous performance in their 29-13 loss vs. the Seattle Seahawks.

The Super Bowl Halftime Show, headlined by six-time Grammy Award winner Bad Bunny, was a bright spot for many on Sunday night though, including Red Sox manager Alex Cora.

The 50-year-old native of Puerto Rico told media members that he even viewed the show a second time on Monday morning.

“Cora re-watched the Bad Bunny halftime show this morning and said he got emotional. AC very proud of Puerto Rico today,” Peter Abraham of The Boston Globe posted on Bluesky.

The 31-year-old superstar recording artist has had a huge February already.

Just one week before his Super Bowl Halftime Show, Bad Bunny won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” became the first all-Spanish-language album to earn the honor in the process.

Bad Bunny’s huge win was among his six nominations for the awards show, including Song and Record of the Year.
