Former Patriots All-Pro Blasts Tom Brady In Series Of Posts On X
Tom Brady said he has “no dog in the fight” for the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
While other former Patriots openly say they are rooting for the Patriots, the man with a statue outside the stadium won’t do the same. It has caused outrage among some former Patriots, including Asante Samuel, who had some harsh words for Brady in a social media rant.
“Tom Brady I am highly I mean highly disappointed in you not rooting for your ex teammate, Mike Vrabel who is about to do something special,” Samule posted on X on Wednesday. “I’m going to fye your (explative) up one of these mornings. Tag Brady let him know I’m on his (explative).”
Samuel even insinuated that Brady might be jealous of the success Drake Maye and his former teammate Vrabel have found with the Patriots.
“Brady you can’t be the only one winning Super Bowls,” Samuel posted on X. “Let me find out you hating on Drake Maye and Vrabel. ‘I don’t have a dog in this fight’ Not what I wanted to hear. Brady knows how I get down. This ain’t nothing new to him.”
The insults did not stop there for Samuel.
“Tom Brady new name ‘Flaw (explative) Brady'”
After all of that, Samuel threatened to continue talking about Brady if he did not respond.
“Tom Brady you have 23 hrs to respond or it’s up. I’m going ape (explative) about who you are.”
Brady and Samuel were teammates for five seasons. Samuel was an All-Pro, Pro Bowler and two-time Super Bowl champion with the Patriots. He was a four-time Pro Bowler overall.
Samuel is clearly not happy that Brady is not openly rooting for the Patriots. He won six Super Bowls with the team, spent 20 years with them and was also a teammate with Vrabel for eight seasons.
