Patriots Captain ‘Anticipates’ Surprising Return For Super Bowl LX

New England Patriots linebacker Harold Landry III has appeared in just two of the club’s last five games, but that isn’t stopping him from setting his sights on playing in Super Bowl LX.

No, seriously.

Landry, whose knee injury has kept him from being a full participant in practice for nearly two months, was asked whether he anticipated playing in the big game and gave a relatively surprising answer

“We’ll see how the week goes but yeah, I would anticipate that,” Landry said, as shared by ESPN’s Mike Reiss.

The Patriots also received positive injury updates from the likes of quarterback Drake Maye and linebacker Robert Spillane — so things are definitely pointing in the right direction as the team prepares for its final three practices of the season.

New England still has three practice sessions before taking on the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX, so there’s time for injuries to heal and for the plan to be formulated before kickoff at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday.
