Matchday 20 of the 2025/26 Bundesliga season had plenty to offer: Bayern München
were held to a pulsating 2-2 draw against Hamburg SV, dropping points in a match full
of intensity that kept the title race wide open. Borussia Dortmund followed with a thrilling
3-2 comeback win over Heidenheim, inspired by a extraordinary Serhou Guirassy
performance — the striker scored twice to turn the game on its head, despite also
missing a penalty in a dramatic individual display. Bayer Leverkusen continued their
strong run of form with an emphatic victory over Eintracht Frankfurt, underlining their
growing consistency as the season progresses.
Elsewhere, RB Leipzig suffered a surprise setback as they were beaten by Mainz, a result that could prove costly in the battle for the Champions League places as the Bundesliga heads into a crucial phase of the campaign.
