I was wondering what others are thinking? The transfer window is not done..... But some were saying this in the summer and we didn't really add what we should have imo.

DCL aside of which I am only surprised by his fitness not ability, Okafor, Perri are as expected for differing reasons..... Nmecha okish on a free but crocked alot, Bornauw good but crocked a lot.... Justin the same....

Most of the above seemed like panic buys for me with little strategy.....

Bijol, Gudmundsson, Stach really good signings and I genuinely think longstaff once back into it will do well..... Trouble is we were a light squad coming up and I don't really think we've addressed it in the best way to stay up.....

My question is simple. Why?

We are in a really good position comparitively speaking.... But business has not been done to address glaring areas of squad weakness.

The ffp idea is mute when we have just tabled up to £40 mil for a player..... Joel piroe could have got decent money, Gnonto also (neither are used so I see them as devaluing assets in the same way as I did Meslier).

Is it that we can't attract players..... Can't find players...... Farke doesn't want players (Comments today about gk situation suggest he wasn't the one behind the Perri transfer).......

Dare I say it I felt equal parts excited/scared of what Orta might do..... I felt like Steinnsson had reach and experience.... The last two windows have given me a feeling of none expectation.....

Are we missing a recruitment department that befits the premier league?
