Man United 3-2 Fulham: Player Ratings – Three heroes earn massive 9/10s in late Old Trafford drama, 7/10 for Mainoo
Manchester United produced a dramatic 3–2 Premier League triumph over Fulham in a pulsating encounter at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Caretaker head coach Michael Carrick made just one tweak to his starting XI, with Matheus Cunha stepping in for the injured Patrick Dorgu.
Casemiro set the tone early, thundering home a powerful header from a pinpoint Bruno Fernandes free-kick to fire the Red Devils ahead.
The veteran midfielder then turned creator, delivering a sumptuous no-look assist to set up his Brazilian teammate Matheus Cunha.
Fulham thought they had pulled one back, but their celebrations were cut short as VAR ruled the effort offside.
The visitors eventually found a route back into the contest after a controversial penalty decision, which Raul Jimenez coolly converted from the spot.
Momentum swung further when Kevin unleashed a stunning curling strike into the top-right corner to drag Fulham level in spectacular fashion.
United had the final say, as Fernandes whipped in a dangerous low cross from the right and Benjamin Sesko smashed home emphatically past Bernd Leno to seal a thrilling victory.
