Vincent Kompany has revealed what has impressed him most about Tottenham youngster Luka Vuskovic this season.
Vuskovic is having a breakthrough year in the Bundesliga and is being tipped to reach the very top of the game over the coming years.
The centre-back has surpassed all expectations at Hamburg so far, and looks like someone who has played at this level for a long time, even though this is his first taste of football in a top-five European league.
According to reports, Spurs have been closely monitoring Vuskovic’s development this season, and they are delighted with the way he has progressed.

Speaking ahead of Bayern Munich’s 2-2 draw against Hamburg on Saturday, the Bayern Munich head coach showered praise on Vuskovic.
He admitted that it is difficult for young centre-backs to make an impression in the German top-flight, describing the experience the teenager is gaining at Hamburg as ‘ideal’.
Kompany said (via Bavarian Football Works) about Vuskovic: “He’s a big talent. The Bundesliga is a very difficult league to develop as a young centre-back. You need to be physically strong.
“Having an important role at HSV is ideal. He needs to listen well to his good coach there. He doesn’t need to do much more.”
Vuskovic shines against Bayern Munich
Much to Kompany’s consternation, the on-loan Tottenham Hotspur youngster did play well against his side, helping Hamburg secure a point.
Vuskovic scored a bullet header in the second half against Bayern as the home side held the Bundesliga leaders to a 2-2 draw at Volksparkstadion.
The goal and his overall performance will only add to the excitement of Spurs fans, who are eagerly looking forward to seeing what the Croat can do in a Tottenham shirt in the future.
