3x SB Champion Willie McGinest Slams HOF Voters In Epic Bill Belichick Rant, ‘Spygate S***’

Few legends are as loved in Foxboro as three-time Super Bowl champion Willie McGinest.

McGinest spent 15 years in the NFL and nearly 15 more covering it on various different channels, including NFL Network.

He has remained a proud former Patriot, returning to the stadium regularly to engage with fans despite moving back to his hometown of Long Beach, Calif.

He used his decade of media work to help film an epic three-minute rant targeting the Hall of Fame voters who neglected to vote in his former head coach, Bill Belichick.

“Let me start with this Spygate s—,” McGinest said in a video shared by the “All The Smoke” podcast. “If we knew your signals, and we knew your plays, we would’ve won eight f—ing Super Bowls.

“I won three — went to four, won three. They won six. We would’ve won eight to 10. Matter of fact, we would not have lost a game. We would have went undefeated multiple years if we knew your signals and your plays.”

McGinest played more than a decade in New England, earning All-Pro and Pro Bowl honors. But unfortunately, he was not around for the legendary 2007 run when the Patriots finished the regular season undefeated.

However, he clearly feels that the slight on his coach is an indictment of how truly talented his Patriots team that won three Super Bowls in four years was.

“Are you mad because his teams are smarter than your teams? And we can adjust? And we were prepared for anything you did? Are you upset about that?” McGinest said. “Scouts all over the league were in other people’s stadiums filming and doing all that. You can listen to the TV copies and hear s—, that s— was going on all over the league.

“But somebody told on somebody who told on somebody who told the league. So everybody had to stop doing it. Yeah, Bill took the fall. Did he stop winning games? I don’t think so.”
