Shocking Fact Reportedly Emerges From Bill Belichick Hall Of Fame Snub

In the wake of Bill Belichick’s shocking snub from first-ballot enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Kansas City Star columnist Vahe Gregorian revealed that he didn’t vote for the New England Patriots legend.

While Gregorian wasn’t alone in not selecting Belichick on their ballot, it turns out that if the media member had done so, then the 73-year-old would’ve made the cut.

Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette wrote about Belichick’s situation on Friday, revealing that the current North Carolina head coach missed being voted in by one tally.

“To be elected, a candidate has to receive at least 80% of the votes, or, in this instance, 40 of the 50. Belichick, according to a published report, did not. He received 39,” Dulac said.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame allows voters to choose three people from each of the categories (coaching/contributor/senior).

The unveiling of the Class of 2026 will take place on Feb. 5 in San Francisco at “NFL Honors.”
