Patriots Reporter Identifies Star Who Could Have Huge Super Bowl Performance

The Patriots are heading to the Super Bowl, and several players will need to rise to the occasion if New England is going to secure its seventh Super Bowl in franchise history.

Patriots reporter Taylor Kyles believes that New England’s defensive tackle, Christian Barmore could have a standout game against the Seahawks.

“Barmore could have maybe the most dominant performance in the Super Bowl,” Kyles said on Saturday, via Patriots on CLNS. “It’s this kind of mismatch where I could see that happening.”

Kyles believes that Barmore could exploit a weakness in Seattle’s right guard, Anthony Bradford.

“This is a guy who struggles one-on-one; he struggles against line games,” Kyles added. “He is really not the right guard you expect to be on a playoff team, and I think he’s going to see a lot of Barmore. That’s a huge mismatch.”

Barmore participated in 17 games this season, tallying just two sacks and 14 tackles for loss. However, he did manage to record a sack in the AFC Championship against the Denver Broncos.

For New England to clinch the Super Bowl, it must dominate at the line of scrimmage, and a standout performance from Barmore could make a significant difference.
