Sky: Bologna and Juventus in talks over right-backs swap deal
Sky Sport Italia reports that Juventus and Bologna are in talks over a potential swap deal involving Joao Mario and Emil Holm.
Juventus and Bologna are discussing a potential swap deal between right-backs Joao Mario and Holm.
Talks ongoing for Joao Mario-Holm swap deal
Sky Sport Italia reports that negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing, and despite the limited time to finalise the deal, both sides are still working to find an agreement.
Joao Mario has been struggling for playing time at Juventus, providing just one assist in 13 appearances across all competitions.
The Portuguese has collected 373 minutes of football in Turin in 2025-26, but only 46 under new coach Luciano Spalletti.
Holm, on the other hand, has played 1,240 minutes at Bologna, providing five assists and scoring one goal in 19 appearances across all competitions this term.
Juventus also have an agreement with Celta Vigo’s full-back Oscar Mingueza, but even if the Spaniard has less than six months left in his contract, his club continue to demand €20m as Barcelona hold a 50% sell-on clause.
