All the European heavyweights are in the CL.
Unfortunately the scum’s failure to reach this season’s CL has vastly improved their chances of winning a trophy. It’s just the way it is. The old UEFA Cup was a bloody hard trophy to win because it had the second and third etc best teams in it from major countries. Now, all of those sides are in the competition above.
The rest of the football world won’t give two shits about Villa winning it if they do because they’re fully expected to.
As I’ve said a few times this season though, it is what it is.
It's been 25 years since it was that competition. I do agree though nobody really cares too much who wins it but anyone who won it would be extremely happy about it.
