Tottenham reject £6m bids from Germany and the Netherlands, do not want to sell

0 18

One Tottenham Hotspur man is attracting plenty of late interest from around Europe, but the Lilywhites have a clear stance on his future.

There continue to be reports on possible high-profile exits from the North London club before Monday’s transfer deadline.

Yves Bissouma is reportedly in talks with Galatasaray over a late switch, but he is not the only Spurs midfielder who is being linked with an exit.

A couple of days ago, it emerged that Tottenham had rejected interest from PSV Eindhoven for Callum Olusesi, and it turns out the Eredivisie club are not the only ones to be turned away by the North London club.

Tottenham starlet Callum Olusesi is a wanted man across Europe

The Standard have now revealed that Olusesi is attracting interest from clubs in Italy, Germany and Holland ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline.

The 18-year-old is considered one of the best young talents at Tottenham, and according to this latest update, Hoffenheim and PSV Eindhoven have both made offers for the player.

It is revealed that the Dutch and the German clubs were willing to pay £6m for the teenager, but the North London club sent back both offers for the teenager, who made the bench in Tottenham’s 2-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday.

Spurs have a clear preference regarding Olusesi’s future

The Standard say that the Tottenham U21 captain, who made his senior debut for the Lilywhites in the Europa League last season, is expected to exit Hotspur Way before the window slams shut.

Spurs have no interest in selling Olusesi permanently, but they are open to letting him leave on loan for the rest of the season.

The midfielder has asked to leave in search of regular first-team football, and the Lilywhites’ preference is to loan him to a Championship club rather than abroad.
