Serie A: Verona vs. Udinese – Confirmed line-ups and updates
Serie A strugglers Hellas Verona will have to come up with a replacement for Giovane when Udinese visit on Monday night, after the Brazilian was sold to Napoli in a permanent deal over the weekend.
Verona have only won two league matches all season, and have not tasted victory since December 14 ahead of kick-off. A victory will not be enough for Paolo Zanetti’s 19th-placed side to lift themselves out of the relegation zone on Monday night.
Udinese are coming in off the back of a 1-0 defeat against league leaders Inter last time out in Serie A. Their last win came in a 2-1 victory over Torino on January 7.
Verona have made only one change following last weekend’s 0-0 draw against Cremonese. Giovane has been sold to Napoli and has been replaced by Suat Serdar in the starting line-up tonight.
Kosta Runjaic has made three alterations to his team, with Nicolo Bertola, Lennon Miller and Jordan Zemura coming into the starting XI in place of Christian Kabasele, Jakub Piotrowski and Hassane Kamara.
Kick-off is due at 19.45 GMT.
