Seen a few strange comments about this interview on various platforms and I think people are getting a little carried away.
Watford away seemed to be the tipping point with Keshi, he was great last season and started this season in decent form and the club probably felt he had something more to offer but over time it has become obvious that whilst he’s a tireless runner and adept at winning duels against smaller full backs, his ability wasn’t up to scratch for a team wanting to get promoted.
On the not being able to enjoy last season as much I’m assuming it was because we won the league and a day later lost at Wembley or maybe because of the expectation? Anyway, thank him for last season and move on, I don’t think footballers talk in code as much as some others do.
