'Disgraceful': Tottenham star told to expect FA review after 'poor reaction' amid Aston Villa fracas
Things turned sour as Tottenham crashed out of the FA Cup, with Aston Villa players clashing with the Lilywhites at full-time.
Goals from Emi Buendia and Morgan Rogers were enough to sink Tottenham on Saturday evening, despite a consolation goal from Wilson Odobert.
After this disappointing FA Cup exit, we now know Spurs will not be winning any silverware this season, barring some kind of miracle in the Champions League.
Amid the failure on the pitch, Tottenham and Villa players carried on the battle after the full-time whistle. It was an unsavoury scene, and could well lead to big trouble for both sides.

Pedro Porro at the heart of Tottenham FA Cup fight
Assessing the fallout of that incident, former Premier League referee Keith Hackett spoke exclusively to Tottenham Hotspur News to share his verdict on what happened.
He said: “Once again, at the end of the game, we witnessed another disgraceful confrontation between the two teams. The FA will certainly charge both clubs with failing to control the players. Any previous record of events of this nature will be taken into account.”
While it was Ollie Watkins who stirred the pot with his celebrations and Joao Palhinha and Morgan Rogers who tussled, it may actually be Pedro Porro who comes off worst for his role in the chaos.
Hackett added: “The FA may also review the poor reaction from Porro, too, and determine if any action should be taken. I don’t expect the player to be suspended.”
Another embarrassing moment for Spurs
With Tottenham languishing in the bottom half of the league table, they could really have done with a cup run to lift spirits. That won’t be happening now.
Things are not predicted to get much better for Spurs this season, with a 12th-place finish on the cards according to supercomputer projections.

Now, the fans have had to not only witness the cup exit but also another worrying display of frustration and a lack of composure from their players after the game.
Clearly, no one is happy at Spurs at the moment, but the players have to keep their heads and focus on the task at hand rather than getting wound up. It may well now cost Tottenham, with at least a fine on the way, and potential disciplinary action for players.
