Manchester United will welcome Brighton & Hove Albion to Old Trafford on Sunday as they begin their FA Cup journey under intense scrutiny.

Interim head coach Darren Fletcher has lifted the lid on his squad plans ahead of the third-round showdown.

He said in his pre-match press conference (via ManUtd.com): “We have the same players available for the game, as we had against Burnley, so no new additions.

“Bryan and Nous will not be available for the game.”

The Red Devils received a huge boost on Wednesday evening, with Bruno Fernandes returning to the starting XI.

The captain pulled the strings throughout, carving out multiple chances and registering an assist for Benjamin Sesko’s long-awaited opener.
