Key Squad Boost as Frederick, Matthews and Stephenson Commit to the Crows

0 2

Royston Town FC are delighted to share a squad update as the Crows head into the new year with renewed belief and momentum.

Jordon Frederick and Anton Matthews have both committed their futures to the club, turning down opportunities elsewhere to remain at Garden Walk and play their part in the Crow’s fight this season.

Both players have become integral figures within the squad, and their decisions underline the togetherness and ambition that continues to drive the group forward.

Adding further good news, full-back Ollie Stephenson has extended his loan spell from Watford, following a series of impressive performances that have quickly made him a popular figure among supporters and staff alike.

Manager Chris Watters expressed his satisfaction at securing the services of all three players:

“We’re absolutely delighted. Jordon and Anton both had options available to them, so the fact they’ve chosen to stay says a lot about their character and their belief in what we’re building here.”

“They’re fully committed to the cause and determined to help us compete and push on during the remainder of the season.”

Watters also praised Stephenson’s impact since arriving at the club:

“Ollie has been outstanding since he came in. He’s fitted in seamlessly, shown real quality and maturity, and we’re very pleased to have his loan extended. Credit to Watford as well for their support.”

“Having all three available gives us a real lift and strengthens the group both on and off the pitch.”

With commitment shown, competition for places high and the squad pulling in the same direction, the Crows head into the coming fixtures with confidence and unity as they look to make this season count.
