New Football Walking Tour hospitality add-on Dates for 2026
GLASGOW Football Tours venture back in time to the birthplace of football – and Queen’s Park – on Glasgow’s southside.
The historic walks take in various important sites in the formation of the modern game, and of course, our proud Spiders history that is central to the sport.
Tours run regularly however in a partnership with Queen’s Park FC, each matchday walk can be paired with hospitality as a discounted bolt-on to end at our modern home – The city Stadium – ready for a three-course meal and our popular pre-match entertainment in the Black and White Lounge.
The dates for each available tour and hospitality pairing are as follows:
- Saturday 10th January – vs St Johnstone
- Saturday 31st January – vs Arbroath
- Saturday 21st February – vs Morton
- Saturday 7th March – vs Airdrie
- Saturday 14th March – vs Ayr United
- Saturday 4th April – vs Raith Rovers
- Saturday 11th April – vs Ross County
- Saturday 25th April – vs Dunfermline

“Fans of our own club and visiting supporters have enjoyed these tours already this season, before being warmly welcomed to a modern matchday with the club to complete their tour at Queen’s Park hospitality.”
Lindsay Hamilton, owner and head guide of Glasgow Football Tours, explained: “The Three Hampdens Tour is an integral part of what we call, Football’s Square Mile, which is the World’s biggest ‘Open Air’ football museum in the South Side of Glasgow. The Queen’s Park Recreation Ground and The Three Hampden Parks are the ‘cradle’ of the modern passing and running game of football.
“An experienced & knowledgeable tour guide will inform and entertain you with incredible and revolutionary stories.”
Each walking tour lasts two and a half hours and will visit:
- Queens Park Recreation Ground
- The Hampden Bowling Club (First Hampden Park) – The 1st Hampden Mural (Scotland 5-1 England, 11th March 1882)
- Cathkin Park (Second Hampden Park) – Abandoned stadium with original terracing
- The National Stadium, Hampden Park (the Third)
- The city Stadium (Lesser Hampden) – *matchdays only.
Prices for each tour are:
- Adults £20
- Concession £14
- Under 16s £6
