Radu Dragusin has major Tottenham concern ahead of Thomas Frank crunch talks

0 4

Radu Dragusin is concerned about one particular factor at Tottenham Hotspur as a number of Serie A clubs circle over the centre-back in January.

Dragusin’s return from his ACL injury seems to have been the catalyst for a major transfer battle for his signature.

AS Roma are plotting a move to take Dragusin back to Italy, while it has also emerged over recent days that Inter Milan, AC Milan and Napoli have made enquiries about the Spurs defender.

Juventus are also eyeing the Tottenham man, and there have been suggestions that Dragusin is set for crunch talks with Thomas Frank over his Tottenham future soon.

Radu Dragusin has one Tottenham concern as he weighs up options

It has now been reported by The Daily Mail that the 23-year-old has one concern about staying at Spurs.

He is worried that if he stays on the sidelines for the rest of this season behind Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Kevin Danso, he would have played very little football in the last 20 months.

Dragusin wants to play regularly in order to get upto speed, with the defender and Spurs keen to find the best way forward.

The outlet asserts that Tottenham have made it clear they do not want to loan out the centre-back, but they may be tempted by a permanent sale if a suitable offer arrives.

Two clubs may have an advantage in Dragusin race

The Mail explain that out of the various clubs chasing Dragusin, two may have a big advantage over the others.

One of them is Juve, who are set to appoint Marco Ottolini as their sporting director. Ottolini was in charge at Geneo when they signed the centre-back from the Old Lady and later sold him to Spurs.

The other is Inter, who are managed by Romanian legend Cristian Chivu, whom Dragusin may want to work with.
