Bower loan extended

The young Addicks loanee will remain at the Saunders Transport Community Stadium until the end of the season.

Since joining Boro on the eve of the new season, Toby has made 25 appearances in yellow and blue during his half-season loan.

The 20-year-old has made the left-back position his own and the Boro faithful will be pleased to see him extend his stay for the second half of our Enterprise National League South campaign.

On the latest early January activity, Manager Spencer Day commented: “Toby Bower’s loan has been renewed until the end of the season, so we’re very grateful to Charlton.”

“We’ve got others coming in, we’ve got some going out. It’s that time of year. Very, very busy; we’re working on things.

“It’s not easy with money. You’ve still got to pay people. It’s difficult but at the moment I think we should be very positive. We’re right in the fight.”
